The NSS Unit of Ahalia School of Pharmacy organized a poster competition on 25th March 2025 to commemorate World Tuberculosis Day. The event was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Sajin K. A., Programme Officer, and aimed to raise awareness about tuberculosis and its impact on global health.
The competition witnessed active participation from students across various departments, with each team presenting creative and informative posters highlighting different aspects of tuberculosis, including its prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
The evaluation panel included Dr. Sapna Shrikumar, Principal, along with the Heads of all Departments, who meticulously assessed the posters based on creativity, content, and presentation. After a thorough evaluation, the poster prepared by Jumana and her team was adjudged the first prize winner for its outstanding visual representation and insightful message.
The event successfully engaged students in understanding the importance of combating tuberculosis and promoting public health awareness. The NSS Unit and the organizing committee extended their gratitude to the faculty and participants for making the event a resounding success.
