Ahalia School of Pharmacy organized the World Environment Day program with the theme “Ban Plastic Pollution” on June 5th, 2025. The program was conducted by the Nature Club association and inaugurated by the Principal Dr.Sapna Shrikumar. As per the theme plastic was banned from the college and all plastic containers were replaced by steel vessels. Deepu.S, HOD of Pharmaceutics and Ms.Anjana.K.S, Asst.Professor gave a relevant speech on the harmful effects of plastic in society. Saplings were planted in the garden by students. Further the students performed a theme-related flash Mob in Palakkad Junction Railway Station, Olavakkode. The participants were awarded certificates by Railways Divisional Officer Mr.Jayaprakash and the program was well appreciated.
