Ahalia Group of Educational Institutions in association with Indian Railways organised an Environment Conservation Awareness drive at The Palakkad Junction Railway Station, Olavakkode.
The Divisional Railway Manager, Shri. Arun Kumar Choudhary flagged off the Walkathon from the Divisional Railway Office. Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Shri. Jayakrishnan S., presided over the programme.
An environment conservation oath was taken by all the participants at the Palakkad Junction Railway Station and a human chain was also formed expressing the solidarity towards the cause.
The students and staff of Ahalia School of Optometry and Research Centre and Ahalia School of Pharmacy participated in this drive.
