Ahalia School of Pharmacy, Palakkad, conducted a week-long Orientation Program from 13th to 21st October 2025 for First Semester B.Pharm students to familiarize them with the academic environment, institutional policies, and professional opportunities while promoting personal and professional development. The program began with a welcome address by Mrs. Jyothi A, followed by curriculum orientation sessions by Mrs. Anjana K.S and Mrs. Ranitha S. Dr. B. Samuel Thavamani delivered a session on the Application of Computers in Pharmacy. Motivational and skill development sessions were conducted by Dr. Sapna Shrikumar and Mr. Prasanth K, while Mrs. D. Deborah Evangeline handled activities on memory and observation skills. Students attended Library Usage sessions by Mr. Abijith and Seminar Preparation by Dr. Deepu S. An industrial visit to AMMU was organized by Mrs. Kanaka S.
Further sessions included talks on student clubs, IEDC, and ADR Monitoring Cell by Dr. Sini T. Inasu, sports and NSS orientation by Mr. H. Oliver Arnold, and laboratory safety and first aid training by Dr. A. Renjith Alex. Students also participated in a campus tour and team-building activities. The program concluded with sessions on Time Management by Dr. Raju A, an awareness talk on Drug and Alcohol Abuse by Mr. Mohammed Shereef, ASI & PRO, Walayar Police Station, and a Pharmacovigilance Quiz conducted by Dr. Sini T. Inasu.
