Ahalia School of Pharmacy, in association with IPA-SF and NSS, celebrated World Environment
Day on June 5 with various environmental awareness activities. The programme was inaugurated
by Mr. B. Vimal, Vanamithra Puraskar Winner, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Sapna Shrikumar,
Principal. Dr. A. Renjith Alex administered the Environment Day Oath, while Dr. Deepu S
delivered the keynote address. Felicitations were offered by Mr. Shaibu V.T. of Green Ahalia and
Ms. Anjana K.S., Assistant Professor. As part of the celebration, 500 saplings received from
Haritha Keralam Mission were distributed and planted on the campus with active participation
from 159 students and faculty members, promoting environmental conservation and sustainable
living. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Nikhila V. S., Assistant Professor,
Department of Pharmacognosy, who also coordinated the event.
