The Pharmacy Practice Forum of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Kerala
State Branch organized a National Webinar on 17 September 2023 titled “Job
Opportunities for the Pharma Professionals in CRO.” The webinar focused on career
prospects in Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and highlighted the expanding role
of pharmacy graduates in clinical research, drug development, regulatory affairs,
pharmacovigilance, and medical writing. Resource persons shared valuable insights into the
skills, qualifications, and industry expectations required for building a successful career in the
CRO sector. The session enabled participants to understand emerging employment
opportunities, current industry trends, and career pathways, thereby enhancing their
professional awareness and preparedness for careers in the pharmaceutical research industry.
