On 12.03.2025, the NSS unit of Ahalia School of Pharmacy, Palakkad, conducted an electoral awareness campaign from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM. The event, held within the school premises, aimed to educate and engage students from the first, third, and fifth semesters on the importance of civic participation.
Principal, Dr. Sapna Shrikumar, delivered an insightful awareness speech, emphasizing the significance of voting and responsible citizenship. Administrator, Mr. Prasanth, further addressed the gathering, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to fostering civic engagement. NSS coordinator, Mr. Sajin K. A., facilitated the campaign by distributing survey forms in electronic mode, allowing for efficient data collection and feedback.
The campaign’s concise 45-minute duration necessitated focused delivery of key messages. The participation of students from diverse semesters provided a valuable opportunity for peer learning and knowledge sharing. First-semester students gained foundational knowledge of the electoral process, while older students engaged in more in-depth discussions.
The leadership’s involvement and the utilization of electronic surveys underscored the institution’s commitment to modern and effective outreach.
