The women empowerment cell successfully organized an insightful seminar titled “SHE LEADS”- Key success factors in women’s careers: an insider’s perspective on 22.04.2025
The seminar was inaugurated by Mrs Priya Vasudevan, CHRO & Executive coach, Mumbai who shared her personal experiences, challenges and the key strategies that contributed to her career success. Her talk focused on crucial themes such as the importance of self-confidence and resilience, balancing personal and professional responsibilities, the role of mentorship and continuous learning overcoming gender biases and breaking stereotypes.
The seminar commenced with a warm encouraging welcome address by the Principal Dr.Sapna Shrikumar . The Presidential address was delivered by the Vice President of Ahalia academics, Mr EPB Rejithan. Dr Sheba MD, Principal, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College & Dr Lavanya, principal, Ahalia College of Nursing delivered the felicitation speech as a token of appreciation and gratitude. They highlighted the importance of initiatives like ‘SHE LEADS’ in bringing forth real life success stories that serves as motivation for aspiring young women.
As a token of appreciation, a memento was presented to Mrs Priya Vasudevan. It served as a symbol of respect and recognition for her role in motivating the future generation of women leaders.
The seminar was concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Dr Sini T Inasu, Associate Professor, Ahalia school of pharmacy. She expressed her sincere gratitude to the speaker for sharing her inspiring journey. She also thanked the entire dignitaries, faculty members and students for their active participation and support. Special appreciation was extended to the organising team for their efforts in making the event a grand success.
