World Health Day 2025

On World Health Day, observed on April 7th, 2025, the NSS unit of Ahalia School of Pharmacy, Palakkad, organized a significant pledge ceremony to raise awareness against drug and narcotic abuse. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across the third, fifth, and seventh semesters.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address by the NSS Program Officer, Mr. Sajin K A. Dr. Sapna Shrikumar, the Principal of Ahalia School of Pharmacy, inaugurated the event, emphasizing the crucial role of future pharmacists in creating a healthy and drug-free society.
She also highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in combating the menace of drug addiction.
Leading the solemn pledge was Ms. Vaishnavi, a seventh-semester student. With conviction, the participating students vowed to actively work and strive against the use of drugs and narcotics. Their pledge echoed a strong commitment to eradicating drug addiction from society and promoting a healthier future for all. The event served as a powerful reminder of the students’ dedication to social responsibility and their potential to contribute positively to the well-being of the community.
