The International Women’s Day Celebration 2026 was conducted at Ahalia School of
Pharmacy, Palakkad, on 10th March 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM with the theme “Give to
Gain,” under the coordination of Ms. Ranitha R and Ms. Neenu Anna Thomas, Assistant
Professors, Department of Pharmaceutics. The program commenced with a welcome address
by student representative Nandana N. A., followed by the inaugural address by Dr. Sapna
Shrikumar, Principal, who emphasized women’s empowerment. Heads of Departments Dr.
Deepu S., Dr. A. Renjith Alex, and Dr. Raju A. delivered insightful talks on gender equality
and professional growth. As part of the celebration, appreciation letters were distributed to
staff members, and sarees were presented as tokens of love to the housekeeping staff,
acknowledging their dedicated service. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by
Danushma P. Menon, 7th semester student, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony, marking the
program as a meaningful and memorable celebration.
