A one-day National Conference, PHARMA INSIGHT 2026, was held at Government T.D.
Medical College, Alappuzha, on 10th February 2026. Around 40 students from Ahalia School
of Pharmacy participated in the scientific sessions and poster presentations, gaining valuable
exposure to recent advances in pharmaceutical research and innovation.
The conference featured expert lectures on the 5R concept in animal experimentation, future
challenges and opportunities in pharmaceuticals, and COVID-19 vaccine development,
enriching participants’ knowledge of ethical research and emerging trends.
An E-Poster Presentation Competition was conducted online on 7th February 2026. Ms.
Neenu Anna Thomas, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, secured First Prize
for her poster presentation. Ms. Ranitha R, Assistant Professor, and VIII Semester students
Ms. Aiswarya S and Ms. Safvana P also presented their research work.
The conference enhanced the academic knowledge, research aptitude, and professional
development of the participants while encouraging innovation and scientific learning.
